Decorated bows?
« on: June 30, 2007, 09:25:00 AM »
Have any of you decorated your longbows up ith feathers and beads,to give it a more native american look? Or maybe put custom leather wrap grip on it? I see alot of guys putting snake skin on there recurve limbs but thelongbow limbs are to narrow for that, I just wanted to do something to my new bow so it dosn't look like a factory preduction bow.

Yep, Feathers, beads, antler, horn, skins, pewter, silver(no gold as of yet), carvings, different overlays, inlays, bison, elk, and deerhide grips, I started out giving production bows a custom look, it can be done pretty easy, the sky's the limit, make it yours, enjoy yourself..Steve

Hey them look nice, might have to try that. I though the limbs would be to narrow and they wouldn't look as good as a recurve. Natural camo too.
