[/b]I don't think that is the intent. The way I play it is I'll shoot a couple warm-ups at something else, or an old plate. But when I am ready, I commit to one clean plate, hang it, shoot it, and photograph it. There have been a couple of stinkers, but good to put a little pressure on self and I think that's being fair.Just my $.02. [/b]Yeah, that's what I do, too. I just do what I do when I'm hunting. I'll shoot a couple of arrows at something, then shoot at the plate. Of course, I do usually shoot a few arrows at other times of the day. For the contest, though. I'll go out, shoot a couple of practice shots, then have at it. I don't think it's in the spirit of the contest to shoot 10 different groups and pick the best one.Just making sure.I do it same way either no practice at all or a few shots into my foam target and then put the plate up and shoot it then photograph.
