Folks just got back from spending a day with Leon at this shop and taking pics of his bows in preparation for Denton Hill. He has a real nice collection of "Slammers" for sale....all nice stuff. If you get a chance check his booth out. Here is a good example. thanks TM             :clapper:                        :clapper:

Does anybody else see that something is missing from Fewkudos' post?

Leon makes a great bow. I shot the BAS right handed and liked it. I'm gonna miss Denton Hill this year but would love to see what he is bringing.

PLEASE be careful... I made the mistake of wandering into Leon's booth...looked...touched...shot...lost sleep that nite... asked friends who also have the same disorder as I do and they said "Do it you deserve it" Went back with same friends next morning... ordered (peer pressure) waited several loooong months... went to pick it up, had lunch with Leon and have been one VERY happy camper since. Do it, you deserve it!!!

John that sounds sweet. I really like the bocote/osage flair and old school black glass on front. That is going to be one handsome bow. I am really glad he likes to mix up the black and brown glass with these fancy veneers, they just grab you and the contrast is great.

We were talking about the carbon tech whitetails. I do not think that there is a better hunting arrow out there. The 35/55 work great on all of my bows in your weight range and you can jocky weight up front with no issues. By far the best I have seen. Looking forward to seeing picks of yours. tm

Picked up my son's bow last Friday. 62" Slammer 40@28", curly maple belly/back, marado riser with ash and osage core. We'll be at Denton Hill, but he didn't want till then shoot it.
