My New to Me Thunderhorn (pics)
« on: July 20, 2011, 02:25:00 PM »
Last week I missed out on this beauty being sold by a fellow TG'er. Fortunately for me the bow didn't quite "fit" the buyer and knowing how much I wanted it, he sold it to me. It arrived on Monday and here she is all tuned and ready for the hunt. Fit, finish and performance of this beauty  is outstanding!!!

I would box that nasty thing up Fred and send it to have some skins put on those limbs. Then it would be finished.

      :notworthy:

That's a beauty brother glad you like it.

You know I got to pick on you...You must be a city boy and had to go Buy a fake log to rest the thunderhorn on didn't you?  :biglaugh:  Glad you got a third bow in the Stable there...What bow is on the list for the month of August? I would guess a Fox, Wallace or a Tall tines maybe anyone else want to take a shot at this?   :p

I think 53# is a "little" heavy for you....so just send it to me......with the 60# limbs. before you hurt yourself....   :biglaugh:

Hey Keefer, what do you mean fake log...that's
from a genuine proprietary high-density polyurethane tree that is native to this part of New York....

Joe, It's 58" with 2 sets of limbs...53# & 60#. The 53# limbs are what I'm shooting. Fred

That's a really nice looking bow.  While we get 'em to shoot 'em, it is nice when they look good, too.
