I use the stuff from Larry D. Jones.  Goes on easy, comes off easy, doesn't dry your face out.

I have just recently switched from a face mask to Carbomask from 3 Rivers. So far very impressed. I have a little makeup brush velcroed to the side, makes it real easy and quick to apply. No scent and comes off real easy with a damp cloth.

Tried face pain once and will never use it again. Can't stand getting the stuff all over my gear or clothes if my hand inadvertently touches my face. I use ash from a camp fire to darken my face anymore.

I use it - the one with three colors, not the tubes of stuff. I carry some of those make up remover, face cleaners in a travel case they sell in the girly section of stores (make up area) - leave a package in my car and it's good for the whole season. I hate face masks until it's below 0 - then I use one

I REALLY like carbomask

Nope, don't use anything to cover my face. I don't think it's needed unless it's really cold out, then I cover with something.

The cork thing makes me laugh because of a funny memory. One time duck hunting, I'm appling the cork smut. My newbie buddy says let me try it. I was glad he wanted to try it so I didn't have to ask him to or encourage him to. He burnt the cork for a good bit, blew it out and stuck right on his face. Guess I should have told him to let it cool off a little first. Left a mark.

I grow a beard and use the HS brand face paint. I only wear a mask if it's really cold.

Have been for 25 years, get it from a halloween costume shop called Make Believin, easy on, easy off, no smell & cheap ... Wouldn't leave home w/out it, you'd be surprised at how much your face and hands stick out from say ... Oh maybe 40-50 yards ...

I use face paint early in the season when it is too hot to even think about putting something over my face. I like the USGI stuff in the two color tubes.

Later I will switch to the spandoflauge face mask.

I can't imagine hunting with bare face and hands.I guess it is just a confidence thing.

Hunter specialties for me!

Couldn't imagine going into the woods without face paint on. Granted I'm 90% hunting on the ground.

Plus the act of putting it on gets me into "primal mode"... Its part of the ritual.
