Do you use face Paint?

Carbonmask on day hunt and I don't shave myself when elk hunting. I like a net mask too sometime.
For my hand I use a light weigth shooting glove.

Does the carbon mask have any carbon soot dusting with it?

I recently placed an order with 3Rivers...before checking out I looked at their "sale items" and noticed corks for $0.05 a piece. So, I ordered 10 for a whopping $0.50.  I got them in the mail this morning and promptly burned one and smudged across the back of my hand a few times. Looks like it oughta work pretty good this fall!

I got an e-mail from TBM regarding a previous "tip" they had published, recommending burned cork.  The e-mail was stating that the carbon from burned cork is carcinogenic.  Interesting.

pavan, google carbomask, then click on - product details. They say that they use pharmaceutical grade activated charcoal. U.S. snipers are now using carbomask, many other interesting details, I've used it for a couple of years now.

oooh ya! some times if i think i need it. Its defiantly an advantage in some scenario's,  Beats the heck out of a face mask for me, i dont like it hanging in the way or getting in the way of anchoring ect

all the guys back in SA think its really funny when i go out "painted up"

I've used the stuff from Larry Jones Game calls site,but Im nit sure theyre available anymore as the site links to a new one which isnt working.

I bought some stuff at the army surplus, a newer kit with tan, grey and brown. desert colors I guess, but equally good anywhere. I hate stuffthat smears off too easily, but its a trade off in most cases when it comes to getting it off.

I have got some weird looks when i alk into a restaurant, and while waiting for my order go wash up in the can.

I hate headnets over my face, I'll wear then around my face, and paint in the rest.

I make sure to do around my eyes, including my eyelids. Helps to hide my glasses, and animals will pick up on the white around your eyes easily.

Years ago I found some liquid colors, that dried on, and didnt smear, but washed up easily with a warm cloth. they arent available anymore, and it was the best I ever used.

Years ago I used to war face paint. Recently I bought a ghillie suit and ordered a tube of paint from them it's supposed to be odor free and easily washed off we'll see!

My only complaint with paint is it is hard to remove and is oily. Is there actually a face paint that does come off easily?

I use the head net mostly because of the bugs in the early season, kills two birds with one stone.

I think they make some black stick on stuff now that the football, baseball players use? Don't know anything more about it, but a few stripes here & there of that might work good, come off easy & not get all over things you don't want it on? Just a thought.
