Pick up a copy of the 2011 fall deer and turkey regulations from the dept of conservation or Walmart.  In there you will find info on special draw hunts real close to you- bush wildlife, Weldon springs and others.  Good luck and welcome to the Midwest.

Welcome Keith,

I'm across the creek and a little south in IL. Check out TownHall Archery in Belleville IL. There's a great group of Trad guy's that shoot there every Saturday morning, 9:00am, I think one of them is from St. Charles. They'll point you in the right direction. I go as often as I can, just can't always make time. It's just off of IL.HWY 15

Welcome to Mo. You need to go to powder valley in St Louis County.  They have a map book with all the public conservation areas listed. You are in a great area. If you need anything give me a call. We have a small all trad shop about a hour and a bit southeast of you.

Welcome to MO. Lots of good hunting and shooting. You can go to Busch wildlife area to shoot at the range. Check out our state org. United bowhunters of Missouri. I'm about 30-45 minutes south of you at Imperial. Lots of trad guys around the area.

Very weird to see St. Charles, Mo as the thread title. That is/was my child hood home from age 9 until 18 when I left for the navy. I now live in Wentzville with my wife and son, just 20 minutes west of you, and still in St. Charles County Missouri!! We will have to hook up and shoot. I live on 3.5 acres out here, and we have some great BBQ's/ Bonfires in the fall.

WELCOME!

30 mins away from you. Busch wildlife will prob be important to you.

Also, if you go to MO conservation website, they have alot of detailed information including maps for you.

Danville will be a little bit of a drive for you, but well worth it

I'm in Pacific, about 45 minutes or so away.  As has been said nice, long season and some nice places to hunt.  Check out Missouri Dept. of Conservation website, lots of good info there.

ps Welcome to Missouri, maybe we'll bump into each other someday.

Eric.

There's a great group of tradgangers in your area. They get together routinely on Sunday mornings for a round of arrow flinging very near you.

Gray Buffalo,DVSHUNTER  are a couple that come to mind.... luckily I could think... this heat is killing me..

Welcome to Missouri!

If you ever get over around Columbia or Jefferson City let me know you're coming and we can hook up for some trad fun as I live halfway between the two places.

God bless,Mudd

Lucky. I go back to St Peters to hunt with my cousin.  Not as easy to do here. We draw for all big game and some game birds
