Thanks for the good thoughts....as far as taking it hunting, I think it will now be my back up for my Elk hunt. I'm shooting my Osprey pretty good so I'm going to stick with that for the hunt. But boy does this shoot nice!

Got a chance to shoot it some more today. Hotter that heck out but I made do.....I'm amazed how it seems to not care what arrow you use. 60-65 cedar,50-55 poplar, 45-60 Carbon express,60-75 carbon Express, 60-65 laminated birch....ranging from 550 gr to 750 gr. With very little change. Naturally the heavier you go they drop a bit quicker ,but as far as flight they look good. Did a bit of tuning and she is almost silent....I think it's a keeper     !!!

Went for a bit of a stump fest this mourning, five of us hit the state land and I brought the Silvertip for show and tell. Let the guys shoot it and got a good response from the test drives....so it's not just me. It's a nice bow!!

Congrats, Ron. I have never shot a tip but it's on my list. You are a tad bit far for a test drive   :D

Congrats, Ron. I've been looking awhile myself. Only shot one, but it was smooth as silk.

Congrats!

My Silvertip Longbow was the first bow I've had custom made and bought brand new, I've always bought used bows, but always wanted a Silvertip too. I've had mine for a few years now and have sold all my other bows except for 1, even sold a 2pc Silvertip longbow. Absolutely love it as I'm sure you will too.

Well , I got the call from Beth today, They need my riser to fit my new limbs that I ordered. I'm excited, my new limbs have Black Glass, make a 60" bow and will be 46# @ 29". In a couple of weeks I'll be ready to go!!   :wavey:    :jumper:    :jumper:

I have accumulated a couple of Silvertips as well as a few others.  I am beginning to ask myself why I have all the bows I have.  The Silvertips just hit where I am looking.  If I get in a shooting slump with one of the others, I grab the Tip and it brings me out of it.  To be honest I have a Robertson Fatalstyk that will do the same for me, but I am really beginning to question if I need the rest of the arsenal.
