Arrow Help
« on: July 23, 2011, 11:34:00 PM »
Hey guys, I am new to trad. I have a Howatt Hunter 45@28 and a Kabekona Longbow I got here from Swampdrummer (thanks Brad!) that is 41@28. I want to get some aluminums but I need help! I want to try some Easton Legacys. I have about a 25" draw, so cut to 26" right? I checked Eastons shaft selector and it says 1816's, but I don't see them for sale anywhere. Can you guys just tell me what to buy and where to buy them? I know I want the Legacy's, but spine, points, broadheads, inserts, weight tubes: TOO MANY CHOICES!! Thanks

Lightest Legacy is a 1916. Way too stiff for a 25" draw. 1816 would be stiff also at 26" long.

I think a 1716 is going to be your best bet in an aluminum arrow size. Unfortunately, a 1716 doesn't come in the Legacy series. It does come in a Camo Hunter, Jazz and Blues series.
