I have 3 of Theresa's 'wooly pullys' A sleeveless in plain green (Bought a size too large to get LOTS of layers under it!) a longsleeve in plaid & a Realtree hooded longsleeve.
The Realtree version is MUCH heavier than the other two. The vest layers perfectly over either one & with both on & a windproof sweater (Cabela's Bargain Bin) underneath, I'm good to go to well below freezing!

Apart from the (very) occasional Goodwill find, it's by far and away the best value Wool going.

I know folks strike it rich at the Goodwill Store often, but not me...I have never found anything there worth hunting in....

I hesitate to talk about how inexpensive Asbell wool is. Go on the site and look at prices. Sometimes I think Teresa made a typo....  :saywhat:

I have a grey vest with hood. I sometimes wear it over Ron Laclair's long hunter shirt also in grey if the weather dictates it. Mike

I want to order one of her vests w/ a hood but I don't like the patterns shown for the vests--can you order any of the plaids in a vest?

Yes... just give her a call.  Teresa will do anything within reason to accommodate you - and she really knows her wool!

one of the best values out there. i know its not recommended to wash wool...but i wash mine often and it has held up fine. for 50 bucks im getting one of the nicest garments out there and there is no camo out there to compete with wool. wool fibers refract light (just like a deers hide). synthetic fibers reflect light. order your true size...no need to order up. get one, you will like it!

Could someone please PM me an email address so I can email GFA or his wife so I can place an order from here in aussie...

For some reason my laptop is not letting me email them through their website.

Many thanks,

ak.

Shadow plaid.  It's the hooded jacket with a seperate cape piece that doubles the top layers.

I also have one of her windblocker vests and with that underneath it's toasty warm.

i really like my pullover, great wool at a super price.i did modify mine i wear a light weight silk crew under mine and my neck would itch too much,i know a mock turtle neck or a turtle neck would take care of it! i sewed some fleece on the inside of the neck and now my silk shirt works fine,my sewing skills are not that great but it works.

Timely post. It reminded me I haven't ordered mine yet for this upcomoing season.

Solved that though. I ordered it last night.

I think it is more effective than many of the mimickry patterns out there as well.

Thanks again for all of the feedback and pictures fellas.  This really helps and I hope to order one within a week or two.  I'm thinking the Montana Magic pattern with a hood.  I prefer the looks of the pullover without the hood, but I bet that hood is handy.

Does she have them in stock or make them as they are ordered?
