thanks Terry. My buddy has two corn fields , early and late crops. hopefully I can hang out along the edge of the oaks and late corn. I will scout and hang a stand or two and see how it goes.

Terry , good lookin bear. What broad head do you use? I like Stingers but am going to try WW this year.

I have done it both ways but most of the time its from treestand. Its arush either way.

I've shot several from a tree and have already vowed that the next one will be from the ground.  The only thing that might bother me is a she-bear with cubs.  I've seen that twice and made my hair stand up both times.

Can't remember how wide it is....nearly 2 inches though if not 2.

We were hunting in Cohutta for hogs during turkey season and came upon a Momma with 3 cubs and she was HUGE....we stayed around 40 yards from them as they made their way around a ridge for about 20 minutes....that was a really cool encounter.
