sky hawk takedown?

anybody have any experience with it, i remember seeing a review of it in TBM a while ago and it looks like a nice bow i just dont hear about it much

The newer current versions are great shooters , grea build quality etc . Quick too !

I shot Jim's version a couple years ago, very nice. He is using the original limb forms from Mr.Earl.

Haven't had the pleasure to shoot one of Jim's Sky Hawks but I do own a 1990-91 model that Earl Hoyt built...

If Jim's is anything like how my Sky Hawk shoots then it should be a awesome bow.
Zona Custom Recurve: 60" 49# @ 27.5".
Sky Sky Hawk Recurve: 60" 47# @ 27.5".

I had one of the originals that I bought used back in the 1990s.  I shot some really nice animals with it and shot it very, very well.  Of course, the fact that I used to practice may have had something to do with that....
