Haha! your right there pavan! All three of my bows shoot the same arrow for me which is sweet but the straight limb bow is a good 12 lbs heavier draw to do it.

I'm stuck loving the one I'm with, so the opportunity to be prejudiced has not yet entered my sheltered existence.

I look forward to developing some bow prejudices.

Hats off to you multi-bow shooters. Tried 'em all before fixing on the LB decades ago.

Used to be a bow junkie, I have owned almost every high end bow out there, Tip,Blacktail,Morrison,Dale Dye,Mariah,O.L. Adcock, A&H, Kwyk Styk, Cari-Bow, Brackenbury, Habu, etc.

I only have these three left and they are it. just my preference and they shoot the best for me.

Brack Quest, 62",59#@28",zebrawood/wenge.

Brack Quest, 62",64#@28" all zebrawood with ebony accents

Cari-Bow Silver Fox longbow,62",55#@28" &52#@28", cocobolo/ebony riser and curly etome and bubinga limbs with antler accents.

I do have a Brackenbury Peerless on order that I should see in a couple of years,LOL.

So, yeah I guess I am now predijuced towards Brackenbury bows with the exception of my Cari-Bow

Let me see, I have three-piece high tech hybrid longbows, three piece recurves, one-piece moderate R/D longbows, one-piece Hill longbows, one-piece recurves, and several selfbows.  And I shoot them all and hunt with most of them.  Does that qualify as being non-prejudicial?   :bigsmyl:

In the short time I've been shooting, I've come to appreciate all varieties of barebows.  As long as you are having fun, that's what counts (to me).

ive never met a recurve or a long bow that i didnt like!!  I think that each one is a work of art in thier own right.  I esp love vintage bows, just because of the stories that they might be able to tell!

Got two Hummingbird 3 piece longbows , 2 Dale Dye recurves and 2 Mathews compounds to shoot. That just about covers all the bow options out there. The rack is full... til another great bow comes along. Roy
Maybe it is time to shoot what I have on the rack

Used to be that way, now pretty much a one bow guy. Still own a bunch but if you truly want to be a consistent shot, one bow is the way to go. I have a Belcher ILF and myBorder limbs will be here in a day or two, that is all I will shoot, except for bowfishing. Shawn

I like the way alot of bows look but i have to agree with Shawn,to be consistent I have to shoot one bow.I own two Kanati longbows that have nearly identical grips.

To all the bows I've loved before...

Almost every bow has some redeeming qualities.  It's bad arrows that need to be purged! And inconvenient work schedules.

G'day Will,

Nice bows, mate!

I like having a wall full of different bows, because I get in different moods throughout the year in which I want to shoot one particular one for a few months. Right now, my mood is for the Black Widow PCH.

Cheers,

Ben

I am a serious bow whore, LOL!     :biglaugh:

It's like people who collect art. Each bowyer does something different and I appreciate the work they do.
Just one more step please!

After 150+ recurves and longbow in a bit over 10 years, I think it's safe to say that I'm not prejudiced.  At present I have a 62", 45#@28" Bill Stewart MCTD recurve with a matching set of 66", 47#@28" longbow limbs.  I also have a Dale Stahl 62", 47#@28" Dale Stahl recurve.  And I have on order a 62", 45-47#@28" Tall Tines recurve.  I love the three that I have on hand and with everything I've read about the Tall Tines I'm sure I'll love it, too.
