Carbonwood vapor with 2 blade 150 grain stinger and 75 grain brass insert. Total arrow weight just shy of 600 grains. I pull my recurve to about 51#. The bow is 62 inches long FYI.

I'll be using the same setup that I've used for the past few seasons.

-64" 50#@28" Tomahawk longbow
-585 grain cedar arrow cut to 29"
-160 grain Woodsman broadhead
-5 1/2" right wing shield cut feathers

I've got another setup that I might give a shot this season too.

-64" 45#@29" DonDow longbow
-515 grain cedar arrow cut to 29"
-125 grain Woodsman broadhead
-5 1/2" right wing shield cut feathers

I think both of these setups will work for whitetails or anything else I'll come across in Virginia. I hunt both from a tree and from the ground. I'd like all of my shots to be under 20-25 yards.

58 inch St. Joe River Bow hybrid flatbow, 53@28. 55/60 cedar arrows with 190 grain Ribteks up front.

Arrows come in around 605 grains.

Summit Open Shot climber stand mostly but hunt on the ground late season, or during hard rut in the swamps.
Just one more step please!

I will be shooting a Schafer Silvertip 62@28, I just got some surewood firs in the mail so I don't know the arrow weight and I haven't decided on a broadhead yet. I would like to get total arrow weight around 600-650. I'm just doing some searching now.

60#  62" Kimsha longbow or the 56" Kota I've become fond of.  I'm liking a low wrist recurve.

Arrows GT 55/75 @ 28.5" w/ 100 brass and 200 Razorcaps or Suffers.  Trying some tapered fir and chundo also.  Snuffers or ACE on them.

Shot is wherever and whenever the switch flips.

60" Hummingbird LB, 54# @ 27", casting CX250 pushing Tusker SB broadheads. With steel BH insert and 50gr. brass shaft insert got the weight  up around 575. I like an exit hole when shooting from a treestand and the ability to punch through shoulder blades if the shot is errent.

I am seeing a pattern here.  I had an old friend that used to joke that DEADER is BETTER!  No sence downgrading from an elk or moose setup.  In my book more is always better and it seems ya'll are agreeing.
