Our season in the Lowcountry of SC opens on August 15th.  But with the heat and humidity we are experiencing this summer, there's no way I'll be getting anywhere close to the hunting woods.

We have to wait until October 1st here. Next season will open September 15th. In Arkansas, were able to take up to 6 deer this season in my zone (4 doe, 2 bucks) It's starting to be very dangerous driving at night around here!

Getting excited here also, 8/15 opener. Got a few stands hung when we had a cool down couple weeks ago, temp was only mid 80's. Heat/humidity/bugs no matter its opening day. After I get that out of my system serious hunting won't begin until late Sept/early October as we have an early rut along the coast in the low country.
