I want to shoot aluminum arrows. I have a cooks mountain elpuma longbow. My draw is 45#@25". I know i need to add another inch for clearance so my arrows will be around 26". Any input will be a big help. Thank u very much John.

For got to say what size arrows? Maby 2016S?

I'd go 1916s at about 26.5 or even 27.

And even then they may be stiff with a 160gr point.

Thought of 1535 carbons?

Nah...go with the 1916s and cut to 27.5 and 160gr points and change point weight and brace for good tune.
