3D Archery Targets?
« on: July 01, 2007, 02:05:00 PM »
Hey guys,I'm shopping around for 3D targets for my own little modest archery range.I have 3 acreas wooded that I don't use for anything,so I thought a 3D cource would be nice and excellant practice for hunting and trad shoots.I have a couple of targets, deer, bags and foam squares, but I would like turkey, pronghorn, boar hog,fox and other targets to add to it.Gives the wife plenty of options for birthdays, christmas and anniversaries. So were do everyone get their targets?Who's got the best prices? Thanks in advance for any help.tradrick

I have picked up 5-6 used targets at various 3-D club shoots where they are selling off excess after replacing them with new targets.  They can be easily repaired and painted and can still have years of service left.

I get most of mine from the shot up target auction after ASTB shoots here in Bama. Most were around $25 and with some patching will last me a lifetime.

Small game targets with best prices, R and W Targets, Cabela's has good prices but have not seen an example of targets. Where in Alabama are you?  I have a contact for used targets that lives south of Birmingham. I just completed a 22 target range for Trad guys in Taft, TN. So I have been though this. I second Blackhawk and Eric's comments.
