got to meet Ron Leclair!
« on: July 31, 2011, 01:56:00 PM »
i had the pleasure of meeting Ron Leclair this weekend. he is one of the people i had allways wanted to meet and a more humble, salt of the earth guy wiould be hard to find. a true gentleman of the sport that takes his time to meet and great all, a pleasure to be around. i was able to talk him out of a pretty special knife to boot! really hope somewhere along the lines our paths will cross agian. the Buffalo knife will be treasured as well as the pipes, thank you my friend!

I'm on the ShrewHill list as well (#3) and couldn't make it to Denton, curious to hear your impression of the bow.

I have to agree, although I only met Ron Briefly, he was a gentleman through and through.

It was Good meeting you Ron, but I have to say the highlight for me was seeing Ken finally meet you.   :campfire:

That was a was my first time talking to Ron Laclair too!
What a great gentleman, he made a special bowie for me and I had the pleasure of picking it at Denton.

The stories he shared were amazing
