Difference between GT XT and Traditional shafts?

I have a couple GT 5575s left over from my compound days. They are XT's and fly superbly out of my MAII Black Widow.
Are they any different in construction than the traditional shafts?

Nothing really... The trads are about 1 Grain heavier per inch and have a slightly thicker Outside diameter.. Otherwise Nothing
Oh and for construction I have found that the wrap or whatever is on the trad shaft tends to give it a tiny bit more strength holding it together where the Black xt's will just break and splinter.

XT's are .003 and the trads I believe are .006 tolerance....in the 55/75 spine the Xt's weigh 8.2gpi and the same spine trads weigh 9.3gpi

Thank you. It turns out that I had put 150 grains of GT weight in one of the shafts one I had not. With my 175 grain VPA on the heavy shaft I have total arrow weight of 590 grains.
With my 200 grain Ace with a steel insert my arrow weighs 705 gr according to my calculations. It flys exceptionaly well with either.
Either will be deadly.
