I tried something different on my arrows this year. Instead of flame cresting them like I normally do, I decided to use acrylic paints and the Jackson Pollock approach. I was quite happy with the result.

Here's a few I've made recently. All Surewood Shafts' douglas fir. I don't have the one's of your daughter's David.
Isaiah 49:2...he made me a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver.

Snag?  If I am not seeing things, aren't the first two sets of the arrows you posted above right wing feathers fletched left wing?  How do you find that they work?

Doug Fir Hunting arrows with self nocks.  Sealed with Beeswax and tree resin.  Wrapped fletching.  Cinnamon feathers are from an immature male peacock I took at 21 yards on Oahu.

I love the arrow stock piles....I had to show my wife....she think I have to much stuff....LOL!! I got nothing compared to some of you....I love it!

Fir shaft, self nock reinfoced with walnut laminate, 1 white 2 natural, small brass tack nail used as index.
