So Much Artistry!!   :thumbsup:    Beautiful Work Folks!!   :clapper:    One thing about woodies, you can start with Ramin Dowels from Wally World to Start out, then Graduate to the POCs or Higher Priced Wood Shafts!!
  NO Aluminum or Carbon Arrow has the Feel or Flight of a HandCrafted Wood Arrow!! Of Course, thats just  MY  Opinion....   :archer2:

Some are Iowa Hawks colors, some are Chicago Blackhawk colors, and the rest are just random. I'm starting to dig the Red Mahogany stain on D.Fir shafts!!!

My first attempted 11/32 woodies are for my dad to hunt with this fall. They are not perfect but i'm proud of them. Shurwoods best spined @ 55-60. they tuned great with 125gr tips. Dad is hunting with them this fall. I'm very excited for him to shoot a deer with arrows I made for him!

   

 

I spliced the cock feathers only, slow going.

WESTBROOK, there have been a couple threads about how to marble dip, but basically you float oil-based paints on water, gently swirl them together and twist the shafts down into the container to your cap depth, it's really simple and the combos are endless. Try it, it's pretty fun...for those ones I used Testor's model paints (gloss for all, green, tan and a little black)
