Thanks, Rob...very beautiful collection of wood arrows.

I've only recently started making up wood arrows for my Big 5, so they are rather plane at best. But I do love shooting them. All the fine craftsmanship on display is inspiring to me. Keep up the fine work guys and gals. Thanks for sharing.

Hat of for all you guys! Your arrows look all so beautiful! I must confess I am a woodie-man too. As a matter of fact I am working on a tutorial right now. I will post it within a few days!

Here are some woodies I made last month. I stained them with black shoe polish, works fine!

These are one of my favorite threads on Tradgang to look at. Love to see the craftmanship and artistry that you guy's put into your woodies!

We bought my nephew and his best friend their first bow's this summer ( Maddog Pup's ) and I wanted to make their arrow's instead of buying them. I wanted to use wood for they are cheap and I could get a little taste of making wood arrows for the first time. I used a thread by Rob in the How-to-Resources to make the boy's arrows. They came out really nice. Thanks for posting that how- to thread Rob, the boy's just love their arrow's.

Those gaudy arrows Tony makes require some sort of thin adhesive tape. I'm not sure exactly what it is. And, no, the paint scheme doesn't affect spine enough for us to tell.
