Those Scouts look to be having a good time. Good on you George. Some of those boys look pretty strong, I think I have something extra to send with those arrows George. I'm sure you will find a use for it.

Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. TGMM ♥

Yes the scouts had a wonderful time,as did I. Wish I could take credit for taking them but I was just along as a leader and a father. And will be there again, the scouts are counting down the days till next year.

We at troop 281 can only take credit for a very small part in the boys accomplishment in building up the skill and gear required to end up at ETAR. Campton Archery, 3rivers Rudderbows and many more here on Trad-Gang helped the boys get to where they are now. Let’s not forget how much work the Scouts did in a very short time. My hats off to them all, George you have a lot to be proud of as well you traveled a narrow path many chose not to take including me. A self made bow is a long way from having a bowyer make a bow for you, Someday I will put my tip down and pick up a stave and do what so few do, build my own character in a bow. I look forward to next year’s shoot and many in-between, I know I will not have to look far for shooting companions. Working with these Scouts is what it’s all about.

Welcome and good job the whole way around, especially on getting those boys shootin'
I think me and my buddy sat next to you guys on Sunday on the lawn for the giveaways. We definitely sat next to a troop.

George you are in trouble now, that’s how it starts. The next thing you know you will be shooting with the lights on and Melissa will have to drug you and Tyler to get you in the house.
Todd, if we were the troop next to you my son won the beautiful knife from EIEIO brothers.

It looks good George. Send those pics to my email and I'll post them up so we can get a closer look at that beauty. Congrats on your second bow! Well Done!
