My New RER T/D! Updated with speed test!
« on: July 01, 2007, 11:57:00 PM »
Well after hearing so many here sing the praises of the RER bows, I broke down and traded for a used one. I shot the bow this morning when I got home from work for the first time. The bow seems to shoot real well with good speed and is one of the quietest bows i have ever shot. The specs are 60" 52#@29", here are some pics of the riser..

Claro walnut and Katalox riser.

I shot the first few arrows at 20 yards to get a feel for the bow. Here is my first 20 yard group.

I noticed when i backed up a little that my groups started to open up a little but i think that they will shrink with a lil more shooting. Here is my first group at 40 yards.

All in all i really like the bow and the fit and finish is flawless. Kevin and Sue make a fine bow. Now i might have to give a vortex or an Arroyo a try.

Chad-Is it noticeably faster than most other bows you've shot-nice groups-especially at 40 yards. I'm curious-what spine and grain arrows are you shooting? My RER will arrive in February.

Yeah, Chad, get a Vortex or Arroyo and then you can put THIS one onto the classifieds here!  Sweet looking bow.  The RER club is growing.

Chad, nice bow. Thye are the only bows I am shooting now. I have an Arroyo and it is 54"s and a dream to shoot. I think you will find that your new bow is a bit quicker than your zippers. Shawn
