Here's mine. A simple, no frills, military surplus canvas bag. It carries all I need.

Not even close to knowing how I would spell the name of this... it's pronounced "cor-na-sha" in my world! LOL

Got a small bear hide in the bag!

It has a shallow pocket for shells, middle section for everything else and an outter section of netting for game!

Repurposed possibles bag. This is an Israeli paratrooper bag that I found for like $10 at a surplus shop. Pretty handy bag. Archery, small game hunting, anything.

When I need a lot of room I go with my GFA.

And when I don't I go with my beaver.

What size do you guys recommend in the asbell haversack? I'd like to have one of them myself.

Ron,

I bought if off of a guy at a Rendezvous in Southern Illinois about 8 years ago.  He had about 50 of them all different types of leather and animal hides.

When I posted back in September, I had not yet tested out my Bag from Theresa Asbell. But now I have used it a lot and really like it. It has a lot of room and several pockets so stuff doesn't get all tangled together. It does not have the old time look like a lot of the leather and fur bags, but does have a very functional look to it. It looks nice , but more importantly, it really works for me. I highly recommend it.

I'm rather surprized, with all you guys incorporating bow quivers into your bags, that no one has utilized the Kwikee Kwiver. Easy on - easy off.
Hmmmmm. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm
not sure that what you heard is what I actually meant!

William,
You do know this thread was about Haversacks and not making a bowquiver don't you?
This what we call a "Man Purse" and it's for carrying all your gear that you would of put into a backpack or fannypack....These haversacks make it much more easy on the back and more easy to retrieve something without taking your gear off...   :archer:
