I am so happy to see you here, stickbowmack!
Remembering back to when I was eight, that was when I first shot a bow. I am fifty-five now, and still have not mastered it.
You are at a wonderful age, big enough to do most stuff, still nimble and sharp-eyed. You will be a great help in spotting critters and finding stray arrows. I would charge cash money for this service, if I were you.
Well, now that your dad has developed a marked distaste for allowing you to converse online, I believe that I will wrap this up by giving you a great big WELCOME, and expressing a wish that you will post again, telling us of your adventures with the bow and your family.
Many of us love the bow because it transports us back to the magic days of our youth, which you, of course, take as the way things are and will always be. Well, maybe you dream of being your own boss, and not having to be in bed by nine (it was eight when I was your age.)
Your views and experiences are of great interest, as you remind us of the time when we started out, and of course, because you are you, and we would like to know what YOU think of all of this.
