Leather arm guard

What do you all do to a new leather arm guard to prevent game from smelling it or dose it mater?

Like Randy just said! Doesn't matter. They don't care about the smell of the armguard -- they care about YOUR smell! And regardless of what some folks say, you can't eliminate your own scent, only reduce it (which is never a bad idea). Keeping the animals upwind is probably the most important thing a hunter can do. Even when animals see or hear you, they often do not spook, but let them get a whiff of human scent and ... goodbye!

Thanks guys I was trying to reduce my sent and any others that might give me away, yes wind or breeze in my face!!

It's a valid question especially down South (now home of over 40 days of 100+ temps and no rain  :mad: ) b/c your leather can get repeatedly saturated with sweat and really stink things up (more than usual).  I spray this kind of stuff with a silver spray like Primos and it really gets rid of the sweat odor - but I'm not responsible for any effects on the leather.     I don't know if other stuff works just as well or is easier on the leather b/c this is all I have used.
