VIDEO-How to tie on Cat Whiskers
« on: August 14, 2011, 06:47:00 AM »
Hey Gang,
As some of you know, my hunting partner and I are working on a traditional bowhunting dvd.  Since we spent a bunch of money on video equipment we decided to make use of it and film other things, such as "how to videos" to share with the hunting community.

Here's one on how I like to tie on cat whiskers.  There are many ways to tie them on it's just the way I prefer to do it.  If you use cat whiskers too and would like to learn how I tie them, check out this video.

Aloha,
Ryan

Ryan,

Thanks for the great informative video! Your method is a lot less wasteful than the way I have been installing them.

Real nice video. Clear and concise.

On a sidenote. On my Blacktails, I've found a pair of home made yarn wool puffs are quieter than a shortened pair of catwhiskers.

Since you've got video equipment, have you thought about doing a "how to make your own home made yarn wool puffs and install" video?

Excellent...always wondered how you guys made those perfect little wisker balls on the string.

Thanks!

Thanks Ryan, it's the little things like the cinch knot that helps make the process easier.
