Still hungry Coyote
« on: August 14, 2011, 10:19:00 PM »
I am blessed with a 20 min drive through game rich country on my way to work. I have stalked Hogs, Turkeys and Deer with my phone camera and had some successful stalks.

This morning stalking was not necessary as the turkey were very close to the road.

I got this picture and started to drive up the roads and noticed this coyote stalking.... I took a series of pics that tell the story of a still hungry Yote whose plot was foiled by a couple of busier Turks!!!

Coaster you are clearly very committed to what you do professionally, otherwise you would never get to your destination driving by those cool going's on.  There ought to be some automatic pay scale  add on just for having to drive by that temptation! A lesser man could not cope.

So the cows don't even notice him.  Probably giggle at him as he is trying to get a bead on those turkeys.  Maybe even give him a little "Go ahead tough guy, you can do it".  The turkeys are probably cussing him or maybe even taunting him as he goes by.  I tell ya, he don't get no respect.  Thanks for posting these.
Take a kid hunting!

I think your right John those two Big Ol Boys would have made a mess of that Yote pelt!!!

Bjorn if you could see the camera shake you’d see the degree of temptation  :)

I try to leave a bit early everyday and drive in the slow lane, never know who's out playing. I'm trying to get land owner permission for a plot that borders this place....  keeping my fingers crossed
