POC tapered shafts

Where do you get yours? I use the 5/16" nock and 11/32" point end and from Kustom King they start at $48.95/ doz. Just didn't know if anyone knew some places that were...cheaper. I will probably be buying cquite a few of these if that helps any.

$6 better, just didn't know if there were any suppliers out of the big 2. Good thing is they're both in Indiana and 3 Rivers is about 45 min away.

Check with Rick at The feathered shaft,if he has them. If not he will point you in the right direction. And remember if you want a cheap price you will get a cheap arrow, quality cost a little more. And quality will always perform better and last longer. And gour shooting it at an animal wouldnt gou want it to be a good quality shaft for a good kill.jmho

Good point but I am buying 8 doz... 4 doz for me and 4 doz for my dad. That's a lot of $$$ just thought that maybe because they had their name they were a little overpriced and was looking for an equal quality but somewhat cheaper supplier.

Go to Twig Archery. (Google search it) John is the best guy I know for arrows. He'll help you with any questions you have and he's done more tapered cedars than you could imagine.

Personally I'd go with Surewood Doug fir if you can. You may have a tougher time getting good POC in 11/32 for your spine requirements.

talked to mr jalon at elite arrows dave wallace shoots 11/ 32 s because they stay straight if you pull a tapered shaft out of atarget wrong by the tail end it is easier to put a bend in it I got adoz from him and they shot every bit as good as some tapers i had i dont think i have misquoted paul jalon

I taper my own and I sell shafts, so maybe my feelings are slightly skewed, but I taper EVERY wood arrow I make. I don't even mess around with parallel for testing any more.
My price is slightly higer than K King but I am a little pickier than they are. The quantity you are asking for would be tough for me to come up with unless you gave me quite a bit of time and did not neet them all matched. 4 dozen in one 10 grain span would take quite a few raw shafts to come up with.

Nocking Point is much cheaper and Mike will only charge you what it costs him to ship them to you. He is a heck of a nice guy too. I ordered a doz from him a couple of months ago and they were all within 3# of spine and probably 10gr weight of each other. He's a great guy to deal with. Also, if you buy in your home state you have to add tax onto the total.
