Yes,it does get a hard spot much after about 28",thats what i call stack,,im not sure if thats the correct term or not.I used to have a custom Cox take down when i was in my 20's, it had 65# at 28" limbs but was a longer bow and it was no harder for me to hold at full draw than my 50# bow.I dont have any problems shooting heavy bows but i cant tell much diffrence in how they shoot at 30 yards and under that i hunt at and i like to shoot bare handed and a 65# bow near about takes the meat off your fingers with no glove or tab, lol.The bear bows im looking at are not new ones,,some used ones i have found on several sites so they are under the $200 range.I have seen several nice bows her on TG for sale that look like they may fit me good in the $250 - $350 range though.
