Legacy 2016´s

I am shooting a Black Widow SAII that is 53lbs @ 28". I want to keep my arrows cut at 29" and still be able to shoot a 150 grain Elite broadhead. Are the 2016's too light for this set up or should I just bump up to the 2018? I haven't shot this arrow set up yet, I am just wondering before I buy a dozen. Thanks in advance for the input.

I bet 2018 or 2020. Did you check the Stu Miller calculator?

Conner is there an adaptor with that broadhead or is 150gr the total weight? Do you know how the shelf is cut on the SAII? To center?
I think 2117's would be a better choice if you're going to cut them to 29"bop...if the tip weight is 150gr...and if the bow is cut to center.

The easton chart on their website calls for a 2216 [and a few others] at those specs ...but as Lincoln said - I would try the 2018.

I shot a 2018 off a bow that was almost exactly the same as your bow and it flew perfectly.

Thanks for the input, I am shooting a 150 woodsman elite broad head. I also think that the 2018 would be a better option but I wanted to be sure. Utah´s bow hunt starts on Saturday and so the gold tips are staying in my quiver and my bivy sack is packed and ready to go! Now hopefully the mule deer cooperate and then I can toy with arrows later.

Don't know if it helps but - I shoot 2018's from a 53# lb at my 27" draw. 175 grains on the front and my arrows fly awesome.
I also have a 50# lb that I shoot 2016's from. Same length and 145 grains up front. They too fly perfect.
All bows have their own preferences and personalities.....

I would think the 2016s would be fine.

My 2016's are cut to 30.5" and they shoot good out of my 48# at 29" draw length bow with 145 0r 150 gr. points.

Conner,
I would go with the 2018's. The 2016's would be a little weak, especially with broadheads.
