Falco Storm - my new bow (PICS)
« on: August 18, 2011, 06:54:00 PM »
Hi everyone,

Here is my new custom made bow, the Storm Carbon, made by Siim Talmar from Falco Archery, Estonia. It's a very short longbow with 54" AMO length, 55# @ 28" and it can be draw up to 29". It's really very fast and zero handshock. Riser woods are cocobolo and curly birch, limbs are zebrano, and seal fur on the shelf.

Lincoln,

What bow lengths does the Falco Storm come in? Longer than 54"?

As others have said, attractive woods and it looks well built.

Nice bow. The last photo of it showing it fully strung is my favorite.

Shifting Shadow,

The Storm comes in 54" only. It's a design inspired in the native american short bow. But Falco Archery has anothers bows from 64" to 70".

That guy on the tube is kind of friend of mine, living in Finland.
He's a greate guy and a greate archer, practising the art of mounted archery, that's how the Storm bow was born.

awesome awesome bow!  anyone know the conversion of 199 eur to american $?? im too tired/lazy to execute the power of google. there is also a video of the guy shooting on the falco website. great looking bow. usually when they get that short they take on a radical hybrid look. this is the only short bow i know of that almost looks like a D shaped bow when strung.
