I have one.......I got it in a trade. I traded a modern highly R/D longbow for the Super "D", 68" 40# @ 28" all bamboo with a cocobolo Riser. It has a slight locator grip and is a joy to shoot. I'm shooting Cedars form it I am very pleased with it. The guy I traded with was very happy ,but I think I got the better end of the deal....lol!

I have a couple and they have become my favorite bows. At 64 inches they easily accomodate my 29" draw, are extremely quick for a Hill style and are ridiculously quiet. Dan has made a reputation primarily with his Whip d/r longbow and his excellent recurves both of which I own and shoot and his Super Ds are "sleepers" somewhat but I assure you they are superb bows.

What Jim Wright said.......I never knew he made the "D" all I heard about were the Whips. They are sleepers that perform!!

THey are fantastic bows,  they have had some slight changes over the years and the current ones are the best in my view.    I need another one.
