Great to hear the rest of the story with pictures!
Those Cache Valley boys are some great help, wish I could have made it up to the potluck, but had family things goin'.

Absolutely right Greg, that kind of effort is hard to describe and infectious too.
On Monday Rich, Mason and I got to blood trail track  Jerry Z's cow Elk, Jerry was there too of course.
It took more than two and a half hours and we covered over a thousand yards. Rich led the team to a successful recovery despite the fact that there was about a thimble full of blood spread over the entire distance. We found the Elk and packed her out.

Packing out Adam's Elk was a bit of work the trail was covered with deadfall and it was uphill all the way. Fortunately we had great help; here is Adam with the final load, a quarter and the head.
