Is Dynaflight 10 better than Dynaflight 97?

Been using Dynaflight 97 but have run out. Saw Dynaflight 10 advertised as stronger than Dynaflight 97 with less creep. Anyone compare the two. Thanks, Don

i've used df'10 - not better or worse than df'97, imo.  i still use the low wax version of df'97, d'02.  they're all hmpe fibers and all are quite complimentary to a modern stick bow.  all hmpe fibers, no matter what the blend, will work well with any stick bow.  some may work slightly "better" than others for certain bows, arrows and archers.  but all are very high tensile strength and if the fiber diameters are about the same as dacron (polyester), each strand will be 4-5 times stronger.  i use padded loop 8 strand d'02 bowstrings and each is well over 800# tensile strength and good for any holding weight stick bow.

IMO ... once yer using hmpe fiber strings, the real testing is in the strand count.  i've found that for me. lowering the strand count makes for a quieter and slightly more "forgiving" bowstring.  to each their own, do the testing!

d'10 is almost as small in diameter as f'8125, but slightly thicker than df'97 and d'02.  none of this stuff matters much at all, imo.  the only real concern is what center serving thread diameter to use, for the best low friction arrow nock fit.
