New Bow - Black Canyon
« on: August 23, 2011, 09:41:00 PM »
Mike Hayes is not very well know East of the Rocky's but let me tell you he sure can build a very nice bow. Super smooth draw, points and hits perfect with no shock. I got the cross cut lams from Mike Pyeatt at  www.rosewoodarchery.com  and love them. String still settling in but I can tell she's a keeper.

Sweet! I like everything about that bow. I shoot mostly longbows and that grip just looks perfect. Well Done TJ.

TJ,
I love td recurves and this one makes your wallet itch!  Does this bow look like the old pronghorn t/d recurve that is no longer made?

Doug, I am not sure. If you are ever in the neighborhood stop by and give her a go. Maybe some other Black Canyon shooter with pronghorn experience can chime in.

I usually like the sharp lines on three piece bows but that riser just flows very nicely. Pleasing to the eye. Looks like great craftsmanship too!!
