Shipping arrows?

How do you ship arrows that are finished? Do you ge those U-Line cardboard tubes or are the little cardboard boxes with foam spacers sufficient enough?

arrow boxes with foam spacers. stuff paper on ends. Never had a problem for 25 years doing it this way.

I guess  just don't trust the USPS, UPS, FedEx that much. Do you insure?

Arrow boxes with dividers. Priority mail insured. Ive never had a problem. Knock on wood.

Triangular Priority mail shipping boxes are free from the USPS. Never had a problem yet sending or receiving arrows in them.

For a set of 12 I use arrow boxes, for six I use the free trianular boxes from the USPS.  I have never insured a set of arrows. It's not cost effective for me to do so.

The free triangle boxes work great for up to a dozen. Just put some packing in the ends to keep them from moving around and they will make it to their destination just fine.

I use the Priority mail triangular boxes for 6 and for 12 I use two triangle boxes and tape them together to be as one,kinda of a semi square box.Those boxes are free and the post office will ship them to me no charge,min 10 to 500.I cut card board two triangle pieces to fit inside and then punch 6 holes to keep the arrows seperated.Shipped dozens of arrows this way,never have had a problem.

Remember you don't get anything free these days. Save all your arrow boxes when you get shafts and use them. Do click and ship with the USPS and use your own boxes. It will be cheaper then using there Priority boxes. Print your shipping label on there site and tape it to your box. Yes insure your package. You also get free delivery conformation when you use click and ship. Your carrier will then pick it up and you never have to go to the Post Office.
