file sharpening magnus 1
«

i can put an edge on a knife that will make hair jump off my arm pretty quickly. i don't know why i can't do that with these magnus 1's. i figured it would be easy since they have a straight edge....
does anyone else have the same trouble?

Years ago I bought a good file and a plastic jig that your broadhead and arrow shaft sits in/on and that really worked. The jig is called the Arrow Grabber and are in 3 Rivers catalog page 69 ... keep the angle near flat and don't be afraid to take off some steel, then finish with a ceramic or leather strop. I used to shoot the Magnus I's and this worked well on them.
Good luck
