looks like I am counting about 8 of you so far. If you don't post here come on anyway, I am just trying to get and Ideal of how many so I can insure I got enough meat. I am not a beer drinker so if you want that bring it. I should have some sweet tea and sodas. If you have side you want to bring do so, if not don't worry about it. I know some are traveling a few hours.

I will start the roast in the oven, then put it on the smoker in the morning just before we leave out to hunt.  It is lager then I remember so I want to be sure it is ready for lunch.

I can't wait to see yall this weekend. Oh let me know if any are wanting to come up the night before.

Bowhunting is a passion, not an obsession. Its just hard for my wife to tell the difference sometimes.

I'm jealous, but I doubt I'll get up there for it.  Wish I could but it's not gonna happen.

That is ok lablover, if more show up that is ok. I was just trying to make sure I have enough for lunch but the roast I have I just weighted on my fish scale at about 8lbs. That is less then half the neck off that buck.

I am getting excited. I really am not a seasoned trad hunter yet so I will be asking a lot of questions from yall about quivers and such.

Man it is this weekend awesome.

Sorry guys I won't be able to make it Saturday after all. My oldest grandaughters birthday party is Saturday and I need to be there. Have fun and shoot a buuny for me. Good luck and take lots of pictures.
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!

I'm new too Kelly. I bought some arrows at RMSG on the 14th and hoping they come in so I can use my heavy Silvertip. Other wise I guess I'll just old faithful. I'm coming down Friday, trying to get a hold of some people to see if they have Osage hedge they don't want. Can't wait!

Bummer Jake,
I remember when my daughter was in "cheer"...
Spent a looong day in Johnson Cty. at one of those events.
I could actually feel the testosterone bleeding from my ears.
