Beaver Ball Help

Can someone give me directon on how to tie these thing on? I would also like to know how far from the top and bottom.

Go to the 3 rivers web site, find string sliencers and then find the beaver string sliencers, they have a vid showing how to tie them on! It is really easy!  If you still have trouble pm me and I'll try to walk you thru it!

Untwist your string a little. Drop them in a glass of water and get them good and wet, that way you don't have to deal with them sticking to the wax on the string and they are easier to handle and get a good uniform wrap. Wrap them in the same direction of the twist of the string, twist your brace back up, that will tighten them up on the string if you wrapped them in the right direction. Shoot a few arrows to shed the water and you're good to go. Works for me

Mine are about 6-8in. from the ends. I dont tie them at all. I decide where I want them then with the bow unstrung I put one end of the beaver through the string bundles maybe 1/4in. Wrap tightly down the string and tuck the other end in. It may take some time to get them to look the same but once they are in place they don't move. As long as your string doesn't get very loose unstrung you shouldn't have a problem. Rob

OK I will try 6 to 8 inches I will make both the same.
 Do I need to tie the ends down?

No need to tie them down, because the string tension should hold them in place.

Yep, no need to tie them in. I have had mine in my string for two years without them moving once.

Can I have a little clarification; I have a recurve should it be 6 to 8 inches from the end of the string or from the bend?

Simply wrap your silencers anywhere into the string out of your line of sight. No specific distance works best. If wrong...rewrap until you like it.
