For those of you who have experience with tapered carbons--specifically the Arrow Dynamic Hammerheads.
It seems like they are very heavy and stiff up front. As such it, doesn't seem like cutting them won't have as much impact in terms of dynamic spine as a straight shaft. Am I wrong in my thinking?
I got a half dozen to play around with and they seem very forgiving and full length will bareshaft out of three of my bows great.
I also see no need to add weighted inserts up front on these. With 125 gr points, standard insert and feathers etc I'm topping 565 grains with what looks to be about 65% FOC...
Bows will be in the 52-55 lb range...
