Have archery hunted the Lemhi Zone for the last 9 years and there are lots of elk.  Can be some tough hunting, very steep and some areas quite open, but have had pretty good success.  There are wolves in the area, but the elk are still definately there.  Last year was very good with many elk (tons of spikes and atleast 6 different 6 pt. bulls within 75 yards)  All is not lost for elk in Idaho.  Some areas have taken a hit in recent years, but there are still lots of elk to chase here.

Good luck to you!
