Rosewood and Ebony

Many may already be aware of the Dept of Justice shutting down Gibson Guitars. Gibson builds guitars using exotic woods and the DOJ says no, no. Bow Builders be careful. The woods were purchased legally from a legal source.

Just got my new Woodcraft catalog with many of the same woods listed, Bellforest on line has them too. Maybe a case of "selective enforcement"?????????.........
Bowhunting is "KILL and EAT" not "Catch and Release".....Semper Fi!

Gibsons wood is clearly stamped as being purchaesd from an approved source according to a statement made by Gibson's CEO. Get this,,, they were raided by Game Wardens. Now there is a good use of the fees paid by sportsman.

Look out bowyers the jackbooted thugs are gonna kick your doors in soon with weapons blazing.  This is a really good example of wasted time and money by the fed.  What idiot decided to persecute an American company over an Indian law?  They should be busy closing our borders and hunting drug lords, drug hitmen,  and real criminals down.  Enron leaders steal billions and get a slap on the hand.   Wood from  India gets corporate head 20 years.  I can see the headlines now! When they raid my house they better be careful my arsenal of longbows with exotic woods might mug them.   They are surely the devils work!

I read the article.  I'm sure glad Obama's administration is protecting jobs in India.

Nice to know my tax dollars are being spent wisely, They can set up a "Sting" on a guitar company, but can't police the borders. Hmmm, frustrating to watch.

If you want to feel another kick from behind, read what the NY atty Gen is doing to knife stores and knife owners. The knives are not even illegal by NY law, but they are bludgeoning the store owners to either pay fines or get prosecuted. It appears we need to cut the size of government in half and then give the remaining bureaucrats enough legitimate work that they won't have time for this kind of thing.

Big Brother is watching/protecting us. Unbelievable. Nothing surprises me any more with our government and the sad part is they keep getting worse.

I vote. It seems to do little good these days.  With career politicians focused on staying in office they have little time for the job we sent them to Washington to do.

I wish about half the country would pay about half the taxes the government says we "owe".  Let em know this is the size of government we are willing to pay for.  Problem with my plan is about half the people don't pay a dime aleady. They sit on their porches or yachts (both ends of the spectrum)grinning at the scmucks who go to work and pay for government.

I write letters and I send e-mails. I get in return nice thank-you form letters from do-nothing liars.

I have never been so fed up with 'leadership' and voters.

Hmm it could have been political? CEO of Gibson donates to a party with an (R) by their name! Coincidence? I need to buy a Les Paul!

Yep, those evil guitars were the instrument of choice that made it possible for all those English groups to invade us back in the 60s.
