i am looking to get my first longbow and as a college student, am nearly broke..... this bow is about 300.00, a little less and was wondering if it is a decent bow. i have 28 dl and will be pulling 50-55 lbs. thanks for any info!!!!

An excellent low priced longbow. I have shot a couple of them, and they are good bows. However, may I suggest that for the money you check the classifieds here. You can get a gently used to like new custom for that amount of money.
Whatever you do, try to shoot as many different bows as you can before you buy one. You may decide you need something different after you get one, and will have to start the process all over again.
