In Your Children's Eye's
« on: September 07, 2011, 06:20:00 PM »
When I got home today from work, I was greeted by my 7 yr old daughter & 4 yr old son.  They were running out of the house waiving a magazine and screaming "Daddy, Daddy you and Eli are famous!"  After I met them & calmed them down, I realized that the magazine was the Fall issue of Compton's "A Walk in the Woods".  Then my daughter pointed out a post-it note that she had marked paged 25.  When I opened to that paged, they screamed "Look there are you and Eli", "You guys are in a magazine and are Famous!"
That brought a warm feeling inside of me and put a smile on my face.
I just wanted to share and remind everyone to slow down and take time to spend with your kids.  It will build memories that will last a life time.  Thanks for reading.

Congratulations that your children look up to you and want to celebrant your "fame". Shows that you've done the same for them!

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

If you blink they'll be in their mid-20's. Yes, slow down, even stop, and soak it all in.

Sounds like something worthy of framing and hanging on the wall.
