No deer sighted Shawn.

It was  a great time.  Saturday night had that feeling like something was going to happen. I guess I wasn't the only one feeling it.  The chipmunks were out in high numbers.  was shocked not to see squirrels.

When you are a mile in and 1/2 mile from the trail thought we would play it safe and come out before it was completely dark. It wasn't a navigation issue but a safety issue with all the streams and boulders and such.

What a great time!!!  Thanks to everyone there for letting me be a part of this hunt.  I sincerely appreciate the invitation.  Special thanks to Ken and Ken's Mom for putting us up.  And those chicken and biscuits Ken's Mom made were awesome!  And having our own chef on board made it extra special.  Thanks to all again and I hope we can all do it again.   :clapper:

YES!!!! pictures!!!!
So nice to see people whom I have met, but have not seen since, though they are dear to me.

Bless you, Kenny, and your dear mother, for this meeting of kindred souls and the sharing of joys that results.

We are family, and your joys are ours.

Yep. These outings with Ken and the boys are special times.Seeing some of the ol'brothers and meeting the new ones is just fantastic. An all around breat time! The way Ken's mom just resigned herself to the fact that her house would be a hunting camp for the weekend! She just makes you feel like she is so happy to see you. The guys made my 11 year old son Justin feel right at home. Just a great weekend!!!

ok now i'll try to explain how i feel. i LOVE this hunt and roaming the woods with my brothers! i have to say it does bother me if i can not get the hunters on deer no matter what the excuse, weather or otherwise. i just feel i have not done a good enough job. now i KNOW how ya all feel that were there, just like me as it all about the company, the get together, food, laughs and fun, i %100 agree.  i just do not feel right about not getting OTHERS on game, myself, ya all know how i feel.  i love all of you and ALLWAYS have the time of my life but i am yearning to have one of ya take a deer of that mountain, i will feel i have done right by you then!
