Just wondering about your experiences with early seasoin calling. Which calls? How often? What responds best?
Thanks for your input and happy hunting

I have had excellent success with a bleat but not so much in the early season. It is a great call for bucks who are moving with their noses to the ground, looking for does.

Only calls I carry are the small can call and a small grunt. I have had luck with the can call all times of the year. I don't over do it. Usually just one bleat and stop. Most of the time smaller bucks are easiest to fool but I'm not picky!

The can has work early on does and smaller bucks, but much better near Halloween. Just my experience with it.

Man they work great.I called in a the biggest buck of my life with a couple bleats from an early season bleat call. This buck was the biggest baddest buck in my area.It had a 10 pointer following him and he made him look small. So if you ask me buy a bleat can and sit still and wait for them to come in on a string.

I used the small can bleat call and had a coyote come to it.
