Correcting a mistake...
« on: September 10, 2011, 02:59:00 PM »
Years ago, I owned a Chek-mate hunter 2 that I shot unlike any other bow I have ever owned. I a brief moment of insanity, I sold it off so I could buy the new wiz bang bow that was coming down the pike. I knew I had made a big mistake after the bow was enroute to it's new owner.

Told myself that I will own another H2. I came across a 1 of 1 H2 that was built as a dealer bow to showcase the different woods that Chek-mate offered. Awesome, awesome bow. This H2 is 62" and right around 47-48# at my draw, perfect for me. I can shoot this bow as well, if not, better then my original H2.

If anyone happens to see me post this bow for sale, you have my permission to smack the idea out of my head...

What would possess you to sell such a good looking bow. But if you ever do I'll volunteer to beat you senseles to stop you selling it. Of course, while you are down I might just steal it from you, but thems the breaks  :)

Mr. Long, I will make sure I remind you not to sell this one. It is too pretty to sell, even if you did not shoot it great!! Congrats on a fine bow!! I have owned 4 CM bows and wish I had my Firebird back as I shot that very well also, very nice bows indeed! Shawn

Thats a great looking bow, Jerry. I know you'll hang on to this one. I've heard you talk about the old one many times at Denton. I hope you bring it next year, I would love to see it. If you shoot it like you do the Blacktail, I'll be retrieving alot of arrows...lol

That is a fine looking Hunter II. They are certainly a great shooting bow, especially for the money.
