Delicious is an understatement!  Those "little elk" are probably the finest tasting wild game that I've ever eaten.

Heading down there for the last week of the season.....can't wait!

Congrats on the hind!

I was checking the costs out...this may have to happen for me in the next two years. Such a cool idea for a quick hunting trip...

Jamie,
If you are refering to hunting private land in Dorchester Co. it may cost quite a bit but Assateaque Island is another place that is a National Park...Not sure if you ever heard of the place but you can get a permit to drive the beach and walk to the hunting Zones...I use to hunt that place just about every weekend in the early 80's with about 4/6 other fella's...Last time I hunted it was late 90's ...Not sure what is needed exactly but you can do a search on hunting there...Even a place to camp primitive...Between Ocean City and Cheaqateque Va.(I can't spell worth a lick)..Seriously I can't! Anyway you can also find some public land at Blackwater and the dude you want to talk to is Steve Kendrot a member here...He's a Biologist or something like an "easy job" man and he's the Hot duck on the Sika wherabouts in Dorchester now... He's like that dude "Dance's with Sika's"...I think he wallo's with them...  :biglaugh:
